Attention All Parents, Students and Community Members,
You're invited to an OPEN HOUSE & SHOWCASE on Monday, February 3rd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Northeast Texas Career and Technology Education (NETCTE) Center. The NETCTE is a joint venture with Kilgore College that offers in-person, dual-credit academic and technical education classes to high school students from Overton ISD, Arp ISD, West Rusk Consolidated ISD, Carlisle ISD and Leverett's Chapel ISD. The NETCTE is located just south of the Overton Dairy Queen at 1300 FM 2089, Overton, TX 75684. Students enrolled at any of the five consortium districts currently have access to over 48 dual-credit college hours before graduation as well as pathways to industry-based training and certifications in Health Sciences and Building Trades, with more programming planned for the future.
The Kilgore College "Road Show" will be on site with a few prizes, snacks and give-aways. KC and CTE instructors and students will be available to answer questions and provide details and demonstrations of the fantastic opportunities available.
